1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of PehleCheck (the website, the WhatsApp service and the API). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use PehleCheck for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

2. Who can use PehleCheck

You must be 18 or older to create an account. Parents and guardians may use PehleCheck to help protect children, but children should not hold their own accounts.

3. What PehleCheck does and doesn’t do

PehleCheck gives automated risk assessments based on the information available to it. Assessments are not legal, forensic or financial advice, are not proof that anything is a fraud, and are never a guarantee that something is safe. You remain responsible for your decisions. PehleCheck is not a bank, payment system, government agency or law-enforcement body, cannot recover money and does not file complaints on your behalf.

4. Your content

You may only submit content you are entitled to share. You keep any rights you have in it. You allow us to process it to provide the service as described in the Privacy Policy. Don’t submit other people’s sensitive personal information unless it is necessary to check for fraud.

5. Acceptable use

• Don’t use PehleCheck to harass, defame or falsely accuse anyone, including through false community reports.
• Don’t try to break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or to access data that isn’t yours.
• Don’t use the service to develop, test or improve scams.
• Don’t resell the service or scrape it except through the API under an API agreement.

6. Community reports

Reports are reviewed before they influence results and may be rejected. By reporting you confirm the report is honest and accurate to the best of your knowledge. We may suspend accounts that submit misleading reports.

7. Paid plans

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel from Plan & billing; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices include or exclude GST as shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Refunds are handled under our refund policy and applicable law.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep PehleCheck available but don’t promise uninterrupted service. External providers may be unavailable; when they are, results say so. We may change features and these terms; we’ll give notice of material changes.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, PehleCheck is not liable for losses resulting from decisions you make based on an assessment, or from fraud committed by third parties. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Suspension and closure

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or put others at risk.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the operator’s registered location have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law.
